last friday i had a most fruitful trip to goodwill... i walked out with 3 dresses, a blouse, a vest and hat for $23 and change... that included this dress and hat... which are obviously favorites since i posted them first. the dress fits perfect. and makes me feel like a lady.. as opposed to the grrl that i really am... or maybe somewhere along the journey i have grown up and just haven't realized it yet...
i'm gonna try and post more links to where i find things... especially deals and great finds.... so if you are a ring person definitely check out the links below.... i found a great store on ebay.

last sunday (i know these are a bit late) i went to the pasadena chalk festival... there was some amazing art... which really did wonders on my spirit as i was very grumpy that mornin'.
it was hot and these outfit shots were taken while i was taking refuge from the sun and hoards of people.

i tried to add a music player to my blog today, but it didn't really work out. i will try again another time. i was semi successful, but the music didn't seem to stream well and was stuttering... hmmmm... i guess that may be my connection... anyways. this is the song i was trying to add. listen if you have the time. i love ani.

didn't start off the day great, but it is looking better and another cup of coffee, a walk and an afternoon iced chai should help....

two new rings... yes, i got the f21 sideways cross.... i know everyone and their mama has it.. .but i still like it. the real find was the sterling silver moss opalite ring that i got on ebay for $9!

instead of repost the chloë sevigny x opening ceremony pre-spring 2011 photos i decided to do a tribute post. it may not be a n.y. city skyline... but morning glories make me smile. thank you chloë for reminding me to put on one of my favorite dresses and a pair of ankle socks....

i loved the entire collection, but my favorites were the ankle motorcycle boots with monster tread, the clog/mule motorcycle shoe and the flirty tank dress in paisley & leopard. the collection as a whole is very wearable, but also fresh and fun.... lovelovelove

i'll always be true

i found another pair of these j brand bells on ebay in a darker wash. yes, that makes me happy. very happy. not as happy as a weekend on the beach would, but pretty darn happy. especially because they were a lot cheaper than a brand new pair. i love ebay. ohhh, i have some ebay auctions right now and will be listing more through the next week or two. it's all vintage, check it out here. i finally finished up my spring cleaning and have stacks of stuff to sell/donate...

my search for the perfect everyday bag is over.... i got it at the tavin boutique in echo park. talk about a little piece of heaven... filled with rare vintage finds, victorian wedding dresses and handmade clothing and accessories(the scarf i'm wearing was hand dyed by the owner herself), this little boutique is a bohemian dream come true... if you are in the los angeles area i highly recommend a visit. and there is a coffee house right around the corner... what more could you ask for?

ok... i'm off for a little meandering around, an iced chai, some daydreaming, maybe some reading...
