choking on hello

these were taken a couple weeks ago... before the rain...

i love overalls... i used to wear them ALL the time and have been searching for some for a while. i thought my best bet was aardvarks or something and then i randomly came across these at h&m. yea, i don't usually find great stuff there like a lot of bloggers do... but i've got three things(including this sweater) in the last month... score! i've come to the conclusion that the one near me isn't the greatest... so now i go to another location...

anyhow... i hope everyone has a great sunday! i'm off to enjoy the brilliant day!

some new stuff... a perfectly me vintage dress... my first ever chambray shirt(it really is perfect like it's name claims)... and black pony fur litas... yea, i couldn't help it. the taupe were just so yummy... i needed them in black and the pony fur had my name all over them...

i still haven't had time to play with my new camera... but when i do i'm gonna shoot some new goodies that i've got over the past month :)

my bf hates the high bun, but i love it...

i don't exactly keep up with fashion week... but i know when i see something i like. and i definitely fell for Alexander Wang Fall 2011.

i am a huge fan of star wars... and really love to rock the jedi look.... these kinda satisfy my sartorial jedi cravings... with a bit of amidala mixed in...

uniformity

i'm pretty much obsessed with all these looks right now... clean, fresh and not fussy... the only thing i foresee being a problem is the ironing necessary for the zara/celine crisp flowyness... but i don't see the bravegrrl versions being quite so crisp... haha...

anyhow... just thought i'd share my current inspirations...

i am feeling sooooo off today...

since last time...

~i finally got a dslr!!! yup, a canon rebel... this photo wasn't taken with it (it was actually taken weeks ago)... i haven't even taken it out of the box.... but hopefully i will have time to play with it tonight

~like i said this photo is a little old... almost irrelevant to my current simple tendencies... i've become enamored by anything simple, classic, with painstaking quality...

~i joined a gym... what the? but i have been going quite a bit and i feel so good... and i want to start taking their yoga classes...

~i've become even more addicted to coffee... yet again... *not implying that i ever stopped, but the amounts have increased... haha

~i haven't gone to the thriftstore! i think this is a result from cleaning my closet and not believing how much stuff i got rid of

~i'm considering doing the 30 for 30 challenge, but i'm not sure.... what do you think? if you don't know what it is read about it here

i ordered from asos for the first time... and i think i'm hooked... i love all my new pretties and their customer service is totally on point...

not to mention the 'so fresh & so clean' styling is appealing to my new tendency towards simplicity...

i will always be a big bag kind of grrl... i've tried to down size (a bit), but i'm done with that... i hate thinking 'i wish i had my book'... or 'dang i'm hungry'...

and i'm tired of carrying around a grocery tote...

so i've narrowed it down to la tropezienne by clarevivier or a julia bag by iyiami handbags(etsy). what do you think? both would be nice... la tropezienne for everyday and the julia for more rugged stuff.. traveling, park, beach. but i can only get one right now. second question... color?
