i love my amoeba tote i got for my burrrfday

today i made homemade marinara... and it was a success :)  and it was easy :)  i don't cook by recipe but since this was a first for me i loosely followed this one.  i am in the process of trying to minimize my processed food intake...  i think i may start making a big jar/pot and use it throughout the week.  it's perfect to spread on bread, over your favorite veggies or on a sandwich.  ok, now i'm hungry.

quite often lately blogging has made me feel yucky... yet another place where i didn't belong...

BUT i really have been quite surprised and inspired lately.  i've found some bloggers that really inspire me and not just with their clothes and style, but with guts, ideas, individuality and most importantly daring to be unique in this world of fashion blogging.  they are feminists, activists, thought provoking and real.  and i no longer (or at least at the moment) feel like i shouldn't be blogging.  i'm just going to blog about what i want to.  i'm not the best writer... i mean i can hardly contain or organize my thoughts in any kind of cohesive flow, but whatever.  i'm pretty much a crazy space cadet... that daydreams of mermaids, burritos and painting water color bunnies with wings... sooooo yeah.

for a long time i've been thinking of having a clothing swap.  i've never done more than think about it though. it just seemed too hard to put together and i didn't really know anyone who would want to do it.  but i thought i'd throw it out there and see what you think.  specifically l.a. grrls.  i mean i love thrifting, flea marketing, ebaying and etsy, but it seems like another way to promote 2nd hand clothing in a different forum.  we all get bored of our clothes and most of us have more than we need right?  anyhow let me know if you'd be interested.  i think it'd be fun.

still...
dying over this romper.... thanks casey.  12 freak'n buckaroos

ok.  i'm done.

Love this outfit. I totally get what you mean. I do get bored and uninspired by blogs sometimes because it's all the same things over and over. I'm currently sticking to Tumblr because it's like a constant source of inspiration and there's some really good different Tumblrs around.

UMMMM YES!!!! I'm so down! I've been wanting to do something like that for a while, and I'm sure we can assemble an awesome group of girls for it. Also, way to go on the food, i really should follow suit.

Oh and the tote: totes rad. I love amoeba so much!

I have felt the exact same way lately! This arena has become severely limiting and now, even if you are an individual, you're drowning in a sea of the same. So, unless you're part of that sea, you're excluded. It's awful, really. I used to love it, now it seems tedious. I'm glad I stumbled across you, though :)

Hope you'll visit me :)

Yeah, I know what you mean, I find some blogs so dull and repetitive and so many blogs just look exactly the same. It's hard for me to find something that I really LOVE, you know? Anyway, you look stunning woman, this outfit is amazing! Really.
