it is easier than you might think cuz your feet don't need the ground

these were taken the same day as the last post, but i wanted to show you the coat and sweater in their full glory so i split it into two posts.... here is the coat story... i got it on ebay for $10.49.... with shipping it was under $24! but that isn't the best part.... i was searching all kinds of randomness on ebay one day.... including faux fur jackets, and this baby popped up.... low and behold i was feasting my eyes on a jacket that i owned years ago and sold because i needed to eat. the lining was falling apart in mine, but this one came to me brand new with the original price tag still stapled on. yes, stapled... it is that old. i was wearing my original jacket when i quit my first waitressing job.... walking down the street with a check in my hand and the rain hitting my face.... it was liberating! it is amazing how my new one brought back some of those memories... including how it felt to sell my stuff...

it's like a sign, someone is telling me i'm doing good by giving me this little gift back...

vintage coat-ebay, american gold sweater gifted from spanish moss, h&m leggings, jeffrey campbell boots, vintage glasses stolen from the bf, rings- elizabeth&james and vintage

amazing story, & yep, definitely seems "sign from heaven!" :)

"wow!", in the first couple photos w/that fab fluffy white sweater poppin'/extendin' from the "rad-regal red-ridinghoodie, satiny-sooo plushy coat...," & then along w/mother nature's greenery in background...--- VOILA!, lo & behold, sabella, if you don't appear an angelically, breathtakingly beautiful, real-to-life, "sooo, sooo snuggable," "sooo, sooo huggable," crazy-cool, lovliest of Christmas cards, ya adorable deargrrl!!! :) <333

namaste,
xoxo

ps: "wow!", now, if only Santa would/could somehow magically, miraculously deliver...! :D

What a cool story! Faux fur and red is one of the best combinations! It all must make the coat that much more special. I love stories like that. A bit of nostalgia mixed in with a huge bargain, and new condition! Cool.

I loooove your sweater and that Elizabeth and James ring. But I want those boots! I just made a post about how I want them, but they're sold out everywhere and I can't find them. There is a similar style that I was thinking about, and you may have convinced me I need them. Love your blog!

Oh that jacket is the coolest! How awesome that you've gotten it back. I don't think I've ever had that happen...hence my clothing-pack rat syndrome. I'm afraid to get rid of anything, so my closet sits packed with clothes I NEVER wear.

I guess if it's really important...it'll come back to you. That's the old saying anyways!LOL! Need to try it.

Oh yay! What a score on the coat. I know how you feel. I have sold truck loads of stuff to survive in my lifetime. Most things come & go, but there are a few things I won't part with. Hooray that the coat came back to you! It is fabulous & you can't beat that price. Well done!
