i kinda love them both.... the second pair is just kinda weird. a dr suess cross between docs/hiking boot/90s mom shoe.... hmmmmm. but oh-so-perfect. reminds me of something i would have totally worn in 9th grade. with crazy checkered tights or something.

anyhow, i really shouldn't buy either. the top are like all my shoes.. but that is good because i know they will get worn A LOT. i wish i could buy both. what happened to me? when did i become so responsible.... i used to just buy something if i liked it and had the cash. i like eating i guess.

how many more times?

random kind of weekend... wore this to a birthday party friday night. this top is one of my favorites (i normally wear it backwards). it has all the qualities i look for.. loose, lightweight, gauzy with just the right amount of pirategypsyness :) the shorts are from... e t s y... surprise surprise. a deal too...

anyhow... i want some noodles... and to watch some really good flicks this week.... and to go to the beach...

i watched gangs of new york again last week... love that movie. any suggestions for great movies? i like sci-fi, fantasy, period pieces & art/music films....

i designed this this shoe for the 'jeffrey my way' contest for chictopia + akira. i was so happy this morning when i found out my design was one featured on the jeffrey campbell blog! no winner has been announced yet, but i'm still smiling ear to ear and i haven't even finished my beloved iced coffee yet! wow! now THAT is a miracle, haha!

i would die if this got made! anyone following my blog knows what a shoe lover i am! this shoe incorporates pretty much everything i love right now, but with a timeless approach. i designed it with versatility in mind, trying to fill a whole in the shoe market... basically this shoe is a year round shoe for us 'boot' grrls.... inspired by lydia deetz
