keep the door open especially when it rains

Photobucket
the sun is shining and it's raining outside my screen door
i am inhaling the beginnings of fall and being reminded that i really just live in the desert
Photobucket
i've been sewing like crazy.... i've made three maxi skirts including this one, 4 headbands and a dress. stretch velvet is kinda taking over my mind right now....
i'm kinda dying to take a trip anywhere and go cd shopping (as in two separate events)... i guess i need to jump on that itunes thing huh? i mean i do have itunes, but all the music was loaded from cds.... analog grrl in a digital world...
paris is like a lover i've never met
until then it'll be all about velvet and amy winehouse...and pink floyd and neil young and iggy pop and daydreaming and zoning out and taking walks and drinking coffee and not sleeping and creating and did i say daydreaming?
xo
Photobucket
skirt-bravegrrl, top & bag-thrifted goodwill, scarf & necklace-from mom(she made the necklace), sunnies-popkillers, rings-maya & f21, boots-gee wawa fatale

i promise i'm true
i know i used to be confused

You are so talented. I hear crimson & velvet are the knew thing this fall!

It's raining & sunny here too! Crazy weather for Ca, huh?

We're headed to a football game in the rain. Kinda fun thought when it's so warm out, I feel like a kid!

Have a great weekend...keep creating.

Oh man, thank u for spitting it all out. I even edited the post because I felt some of the real ones would feel offended. I always enjoyed your comments, because they were always relevent and personal. It was more of a massege to those who just comment. Do not take it personal, man. Am just a bit disappointed w/ the whole bloggosphere.

"...but what I really enjoy is the art of wearing a combination of things that makes you more you. That tells the world who you are."

from a most impressive interview featured in your last post, sabella, you truly wonderfully epitomize these words, above. as, indeed, you seemingly organically create outfit combinations which remarkably resemble personal sartorial works of arts! :)

and it must be so rewarding & fulfilling to have such a wondrous gift/talent in and of itself; and, to then, as here, to actually design & create with your very own hands such stylish, functional apparel & garments for your own personal wardrobe... gosh, absolutely awesome & so amazing! :)

and also, as here, with ya lookin' so "wow!, beautifully comfortable & relaxed in your own skin" --- and, only naturally so --- with your outfit "essentially a wonderful extension" of your own creative & playful mind & imagination (even, mixing an element from dear mom)! :)

and sabella, really, it's truly such a delightful treat (gee, i wonder what wondrous works(items) she'll somehow blend together, "breathtakingly unveil" next...!, lol) as you ever expressively, impressively, reveal "more of you...!", deargrrl, through your "remarkable art!" :)

ever seemingly, "magically, mystically, tellin' the world," --- "...behold a naturally gorgeous goddess, & so ever unfolding beauty...!" :) <333

namaste,
xoxo
