take me as i come 'cause i can't stay long

i'm in tennessee visiting my dad. taking a break from l.a. from routine. routine is the enemy of the love warrior soul. it drives me to be one of silent worry.

i've been reading books that have been collecting dust on my nightstand in la.  painting with cheap water colors.  more reading.   staying up having powwows with the tribe.   getting bored.   cooking.  eating.   drinking iced teas and iced coffees.

my dad has no tv.  no internet.  and it has been good... i'm at my uncles right now.  maybe i'll update sooner than later.  maybe not.

maybe this saved my soul for another round...

wearing secondhand dress/cutoff 80s jeans/belt-goodwill tenn, sterling necklace-goodwill cali, secondhand flannel-ebay, harley davidson boots-tunnel vision, velvet choker-gift from dad when i was 16

here are a few pics from the trip so far... i have tons more, but posting/editing pics on a mac has proven to be harder than i thought it would be...

1/a church down the road from my daddy's place
2/picking vegetables with dad.  he calls it a garden.  it's more of a small farm.
3/new mexico taken while taken a snack break at an abandoned gas station
4/my dad's decor
5/grand canyon

It's always nice to get out of the daily grind and whatnot. You look super awesome, too (shoes = perfect) :)
