life has been so strange.  but it's odd that i expect otherwise, it's been strange since the beginning for me.  what an odd human trait... that we hope something against all odds.  have faith in people that have consistently let us down.  think things will change when they haven't for years.

the only thing we are in control of is ourselves.  why the need to control anything else???

i wanna change my hair... this always happens when i feel this way.  soooo question is what should i do???

tunnel vision is soooo killing it lately... i can't even tell you how much i love their new lookbook.  the styling is sooooo good and so me, like i'd wear it all.  and taylor flipp'n killed it.  nothing more needs to be said about that... except that i know you are jealous of my dashiki and boots, right?  well, i got them over at t.v. so go check out the shop you won't regret it...  right now i got my eye on this and this.  yep.  pure unadulterated vintage lust.  what can i say?  i'm a simple kinda grrrrrrrrrrrL

i'm in tennessee visiting my dad. taking a break from l.a. from routine. routine is the enemy of the love warrior soul. it drives me to be one of silent worry.

i've been reading books that have been collecting dust on my nightstand in la.  painting with cheap water colors.  more reading.   staying up having powwows with the tribe.   getting bored.   cooking.  eating.   drinking iced teas and iced coffees.

my dad has no tv.  no internet.  and it has been good... i'm at my uncles right now.  maybe i'll update sooner than later.  maybe not.

maybe this saved my soul for another round...

so jump off a cliff with me... i'm ready to get out of this lil blogger bubble. i mean all of us have a bubble right?  what pictures we are comfortable posting, how we look, what we will or won't write about...

i started blogging for lighthearted fun... it was a stressful time for me and i just thought it might be fun.  but the truth is i am not very "lighthearted".  i'm kind of an extremist in some ways i guess. and so being lighthearted has become a bit anemic.  it feels fake.  not that i'm fake, i just mostly don't say what's on my mind.  there are a few reasons... 1/ cuz this is the internet and i just didn't want to approach it that way when i first started blogging, 2/ cuz i often live alone in my mind, it's been my safe sacred place and 3/ like i said it was a stressful time and i just wanted to do something not very taxing.  but things change which is normal and i feel like i have some friends here.

so welcome to my heavy hearted place on the net!  haha

playing at the park and wandering down unknown trails really keeps you too busy to worry.  so she did it a lot that week.  crunching down on the crispy leaves and planting her denim covered behind on the moss covered ground kept her in awe until the chill set in.  but a long hot shower and cozy furry blankets kept her in a haze until morning came.  the sun peeked through the blinds and reality instantaneously slapped her awake.

been living in these boots from tunnel vision.  definitely a new favorite, everything in stock is really really amazing.  i'm diggin all their tie dye right now and want these boots like nobody's business! yummmmm...

i've also been playing with dye and bleach and scissors again.  what do you think?  this sweater and headband are some of the fruits of my play labor :)  i'll be opening the shop with lots of dip dyed, bleached, shredded and ripped goods soon!
