playing at the park and wandering down unknown trails really keeps you too busy to worry.  so she did it a lot that week.  crunching down on the crispy leaves and planting her denim covered behind on the moss covered ground kept her in awe until the chill set in.  but a long hot shower and cozy furry blankets kept her in a haze until morning came.  the sun peeked through the blinds and reality instantaneously slapped her awake.

been living in these boots from tunnel vision.  definitely a new favorite, everything in stock is really really amazing.  i'm diggin all their tie dye right now and want these boots like nobody's business! yummmmm...

i've also been playing with dye and bleach and scissors again.  what do you think?  this sweater and headband are some of the fruits of my play labor :)  i'll be opening the shop with lots of dip dyed, bleached, shredded and ripped goods soon!

so here are a few more things that i made last week.. another velvet maxi and a daydreamer top... i've been making these for a while. they go with everything. and are comfy taboot. my boyfriend said i looked like the bird lady from mary poppins in this here outfit... that makes me smile...

most of the stuff i make is made of vintage materials... some reconstructed out of things i pick up at the thrift store and just like the print or the feel of the fabric...

i love making something new out of something old or considered trash... it feels like i'm giving something new life

ok, so i think these studio pix are really cheesey and impersonal for blogging, but at the moment (well for the last couple months) i have been having major camera issues.... the current issue is the lack of a battery charger... so basically i take these outfit shots when i am shooting stuff for my shoppe.... but that will soon change and you will get to see pix taken in much more interesting places... well at least different places...

so i am gonna go to radioshack (or is it radio shack??) today to buy one. i really don't wannna spend the $40 on one nor do i want to go to radioshack. for some reason i have never liked that place...

so the outfit has been a regular no brainer thing as of late.... black leggings, various black shoes and a basic top/sweater with this diy circle scarf... i made it out of a thrifted muumuu... it has a plethora of prints and colors... muted earthy colors splashed with fuschia and leopard...
