it's funny how people misconstrue the meaning of being a feminist.  a feminist is a supporter of the equality of women.  that's it.  plain and simple.  it doesn't mean we hate men, are lesbians, are pro-choice, are hippies, aren't mothers, etc.  it's kind of sickening how many stereotypes are forced upon us as feminists.  and it's also funny that anybody thinks any detail of our lives may be a reason to take away our rights.  a grrl who likes sex DOESN'T deserve to be raped.  a mom DOESN'T need to conform to what society deems as "appropirate" clothing.  i really don't understand why anyone wouldn't want equality for women.  we aren't trying to step on men.  we are just trying not to get stepped on by society and individuals whether they are male or female.  lately i've been partial to calling myself a humanist.  just because i am a human before anything else and therefore feel that all humans should be entitled to the same rights.  to freedom.  regardless of gender.   it makes this more understandable to the simple minded.  who can deny that all humans should have the same rights?  i guess a lot of fucking people...

FOK. Grrrl. I fuckin hate how many stereotypes are associated with feminism and how so much can be misconstrued about the movement. I remember ages ago, I think on tumblr, this one person asked a girl "are all lesbians feminist?" and she replied saying "no, i think all feminists are lesbians but there are gay girls who aren't feminists." And I was sitting there being like NO. WHAT. NO.
Also, so many people use the term "extreme feminism" to mean people thinking girls are better than guys. HOW IS THAT A THING? Extreme feminism would just mean...extreme equality? What?

*end comment rant* your outfit rules and you rule and blaaaaa i love this <3

I love this outfit! I have my mom's jacket like that from the 80s and it would go perfectly with combat boots and a floral dress! you have great taste.

ahhh your grunge style is IDEAL. your rant on feminism is great too,,, much needed eye opener for some people esp in the fashion world. You can be into fashion and material beauty and still be a feminist... I think people often forget that too.

what are you rocking this fall?
