so this was my first stylemint tee and i've since collected three more... soooo soft.... and the price is right. i am a tee kind of grrl and am on a constant treasure hunt for tee perfection. i think i wear one almost everyday. reallyreally (insert shrek voice here). most of my favs come from thriftstores because of how worn in they are and stylemint tees somehow feel like you've owned them for years... my kind of tee.

this sweater is one of my best scores off etsy.... it is heavy and cotton! yes cotton... what a concept huh? it seems to be so hard to find cotton knits these days... i don't get it. ohhh and the superhero-ness of this sweater puts it up there in the ranks... warm cozy and doubles as a cape? yeah! it helps inspire the crazy scenarios that go through my head as i walk down the street. yes, i am walking through a comic book or sometimes an alter universe... it really just depends on the day.

okey dokey.... soooo i haven't found THE jeans yet... it's just so hard to spend that much on jeans and not be sure (since i mostly shop online).... so i got the rag & bone hat instead :-/

i've never been a flats girl. flat chucks yes, flat boots yes, flat girl shoes... uhhhh, just don't look right on me. guess i'm not kate moss, but i think i need to give it another go. right when i was thinking that she pulled out her chucks and nailed it in :)

i just started doing jigsaw puzzles. two in the last week. and i haven't been getting out much.... but i did meet my mom at souplantation... that is where these photos were taken. so it really isn't an outfit post. i mean it is, but not really. i just went out to eat and i ate lots and then i took these photos... yep that's how it went.

anymore recommendations on good black skinnies? come on help a grrl out.

i'm thinking of writing another zine.... but big grrl status, since i was like 16 last time. do ya'll read zines? like homespun ones?

i'm so excited.... i love the holidays. the crisp air, the cozy sweaters, busting out all my vintage coats that i've been collecting all year, wrapping presents, getting creative in the kitchen, driving home late from family gatherings, falling asleep in front of the fire... and the list goes on...

realistically i end up in a 'fancier' version of my everyday jean look to family events. add high heel boots, vintage coat and red lips. but i think i may change my ways a bit. if i could i would totally rock the outfit above... i might switch the blue shoes for the black version just to get more for my buck, but i think the blue adds a nice festive touch. both the dress and shoes are pretty affordable... the same doesn't go for the accessories which could easily be replaced with something easier on the wallet :) it's really all about the dress though... i'm just dying over high necks lately...

soooo, i wear black skinnies EVERYDAY.... does anyone have any good recommendations? i like the between jean and legging thing and they have to be pretty good quality because i wear them so much... hope you guys can help...
